Powerica Sails Ahead with 50 MW GUVNL Wind Energy Win

Powerica Limited has secured a 50 MW wind power project in Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (GUVNL) latest 250 MW grid-connected wind auction. Concluding on July 9, 2026, the electronic reverse auction saw Powerica win the capacity at a discovered tariff of ₹3.51 per unit. Following the upcoming issuance of the Letter of Award (LoA), the company will sign a formal Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GUVNL, directly supporting the utility's Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO). Powerica will utilize its in-house engineering expertise to execute and deliver the project within the mandated timeline.
